Your CCPA/CPRA Options

Who This Notice Covers

This notice supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to California residents interacting with Elite ADU Builders online, over the phone, or in person. It explains how to exercise your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).

Your Rights

  • Right to Know: Request the categories or specific pieces of personal information we collected, disclosed, or shared in the past 12 months.
  • Right to Delete: Ask us to delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions (such as ongoing projects or regulatory obligations).
  • Right to Correct: Request updates to inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
  • Right to Limit Sensitive Use: Direct us to limit the use and disclosure of any sensitive personal information.
  • Right to Opt Out: Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell data, but we honor opt-out requests and Global Privacy Control signals.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not deny services or charge different prices because you exercised your rights.

How to Submit a Request

Use any of the methods below. Include your full name, property city, request type, and best contact method so we can verify your identity:

We respond within 45 days. If your request requires more time, we will notify you in writing. You may authorize an agent to submit a request on your behalf if they have signed permission.

Verification & Appeals

Before fulfilling a request, we may ask for additional information to confirm your identity or authority. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our decision email with "Appeal" in the subject line. We will review and respond within 45 days.

Data Categories We Handle

Depending on your interactions with us, we may have collected:

  • Identifiers: Name, email, phone, mailing address, and government ID information for permitting when provided.
  • Property & project data: Site photos, ADU goals, budgets, feasibility notes, and appointment history.
  • Commercial information: Proposal values, financing preferences, or contract stage (if you become a customer).
  • Internet or electronic network activity: Page views, CTA clicks, HubSpot form status, scroll depth, and device/browser metadata captured through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4.
  • Audio/visual records: Voicemails or video consultations you choose to provide.

We do not knowingly collect information from minors. We also do not sell your data, but GA4 measurement could be considered “sharing” for cross-context analytics. You may opt out at any time via Global Privacy Control signals, the Do Not Sell or Share form, or by contacting us directly.
